I Am Watching You
I have always felt sorry for celebrities and people who are in news cause they are constantly watched and every action of theirs is scrutinized to minute detail. But now I can empathise with them. Not that I am popular but I am being watched and monitored all the time. It might be the consequence of knowing lot of people, maybe my life seems interesting for some or maybe because of this blog. Yes, I have left lot of personal information in this blog before, but my intention was only to write what I feel like. I am trying to curb that practice, thanks to few near and dear ones. Now I'll have to think twice before writing a post here or hang out with a friend. I have to guard my cell phone all the time cause anytime it can go into someone's hand and in an instance its menu->messages->inbox!! and a loud "aahh!!" followed by "who is this? " and a tussle as I try to grab it back. My parents are no less too. My open minded and liberal mom has changed completely, thanks to so called "concerned" aunt. Now not only do I have to report my status to my manager, every night I report where I am, whom I'm with, to my mom. In office, there are curious eyes watching what I do, even as I type this. I used to lose my temper on my friend who used to ask me very personal questions. Every person has the right to his/her personal space where no one can intrude, not even their life partners, but I guess the term 'privacy' is losing its meaning.

You were popular in college and you know that.Its human nature, people do follow such people's life closely and want to know everything about them especially realtionship status.You really cant help it, but ya when someone tries too hard to inrude then its the time to act.
Hmm.. I know what you mean. None of the guys who read this will ever get this. A little anonymity helps keep unwanted attention away. Also, people at work don't really need to know all about you, do they.... Maybe you can think of changing your blog address or something. As for the attention from mum, he..he, that happens, and ur still saved from a lot of it coz you stay away, rite? :)
People can be sick sometimes. And rarely can they accept someone who has a mind of her/his own. They don't know what their limits are and what is the meaning of 'personal space'...
Oh come on its so funny on one side u say privacy is losing its meaning and then u have return so openly that u have to report ur mom about every night where u r, with whom.
After reading this anybody can make out that something is fishy should know where she is n finally with whom...
Girl the most happening thing around now a days are the sting operations be careful.
I am glad you still leave the anonymous posting option on. Well, you need not write stuff that is too personal unless it is a tribute to someone (like GWB post on my blog :P) because ya, people tend to write a lot of nonsense esp. if you are a "good-looking-girl".
Oh BTW, was that cell phone msg reading incident targeted at me?? I am going to read all the messages in it once I come back to Banaglore :PPP!!!!
when people choose acting as a career (or anything that would put them before public eyes) they choose to give their privacy to the devil, they know what they are getting into, so no point complaining later on, the public is the one who feeds their daily meal.
same with blogging, you know that people are going to come and read and might or might not comment, but its the risk that you took when you put something out to the public, so if the "something" is personal, no point in saying your privacy is lost, because you lost it when you wrote the stuff on the blog :-).

Hmm..grabbing someone's cellphone and reading messages is very putting off...I had a similar experience, when a bunch of 'friends' installed some spyware on a pc I was working on and tried to get at my password with a lot of pushing pulling. I hated it! And I hope they read this.

@busy-be: I cant hide anything I have already written but I am keeping my personal stuff away from here.More than my blog ppl at work observe what I do.I wish I had individual cubicles here. Staying away is really helping me :) and do Kannu belong to this "friends" bunch you have mentioned?

2 . when u r at home ur neighbours watch u
3 . when u r surfing the internet hackers watch u
4 . when u r walking the passersby watch u
5 . when u r talking over phone , somebody might not watch u but some body is surely trying to overhear u .
6 . every person has interests over other's life except his / hers ..there lies the origin of rumours n gossips .
So where will u go...????
